Resorts World Las Vegas is a new multi-billion project due to be located right on the Las Vegas Strip, at the location of the old Sands Hotel. It is projected to span over 3.2 million sq ft., and will feature 3,000 hotel rooms, a stunning Feng Shui casino, 9 restaurants, convention center, ballroom, Chinese acrobat theater, and much more. Resorts World Las Vegas will be a Chinese themed resort, blending traditional Chinese architectural styles with modern design.
Heres some intel from our friends over at Vegas Chatter
Once expected to restart construction at the stalled Echelon construction site this past summer, work on Resorts World Las Vegas has yet to begin. The only eye-catching change over the past few months was the arrival of colorful ads in May.
It’s interesting to note that the video was posted under the name EB5 Select. That references a program that provides visas to foreign investors. Both Downtown Grand and SLS Las Vegas used EB-5 money to help finance their renovations.
It’s unknown when construction will now commence on Resorts World. In August, completion of the first phase of the project — which would bring some 3,000 hotel rooms, a casino and dozens of dining options among other amenities — was expected to take place in 2017. Resorts World will stand where the Stardust could once be found.
