Imagine being invited to the most exclusive soiree where, besides the host, you know no one but your date. And imagine once you step into the room, you’re immediately embraced by its beautiful, lively atmosphere and crowd. You’re officially ready to party.
That’s how you’ll feel by staying at Vegas’ newest boutique hotel, The Cromwell. With only 188 rooms, one restaurant and one bustling rooftop nightclub, your vacation just transformed to the party of the year. If this doesn’t convince you just yet, here are 10 reasons why The Cromwell experience is simply awesome.
1. SECRET VIP CHECK-IN LOUNGE
VIP in style? Yes, please! If you choose the full VIP amenity package, the fun starts the second you enter the building. The VIP lounge is cleverly tucked between two bookcases – blink and you’ll miss it. Upon entering, your VIP host will greet you with your favorite drink. If that’s not a warm enough welcome, we’re not sure what is. After check in, one of the attendants will escort you to the elevator and show you to your room. Meanwhile, you can ask any and every question to make the most out of your trip.
2. CHAMPAGNE TOAST AT BOUND
What better way to start your hotel vacation than with a complimentary champagne toast? As a welcome from The Cromwell, hotel guests are invited to a special reception at Bound from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. every Friday and Saturday. Toast to a great Las Vegas vacation with Moet and Chandon champagne and toast to a legendary stay in Las Vegas.
3. THE DÉCOR
The decor at The Cromwell is both classy and whimsical: It’s almost like an extension of your favorite vintage boutique, except you get to stay overnight. Quirky artwork. Wood flooring. Dark furnishings. Pops of color. These Las Vegas hotel rooms just put you in a particular mood. Check them out and book the room of your dreams.
4. IT’S THE LITTLE THINGS THAT COUNT
While each room presents a sultry feel, every guest will be treated like VIP thanks to the hotel’s intimate setting. Each standard guest room features a separate vanity with all the essentials. And unlike most hotels that just carry a hair dryer, each room at The Cromwell also has a straightening iron! This makes primping and getting ready even more glam and exciting. Additionally, all rooms have either checkers or backgammon tables – this gives you a chance to have some fun and kill time. And if there’s anything you need, the hotel attendants may assist you with requests. This really comes in handy if you want to enjoy a juicy burger off-property without leaving your room.
5. GIADA’S VEGAN AND GLUTEN-FREE MENU
Stay at the Cromwell, and you’re only steps away from famed chef Giada de Laurentiis’ first-ever restaurant,GIADA. Even better if you’re a vegan and/or gluten-free. While many places are starting to cater to these dietary needs, it’s still a challenge to request a meat-free, dairy-free or wheat-free plate (without getting an awkward reaction from your server or chef). On the other hand, GIADA welcomes every diner and while the menus aren’t finalized yet, specialty items are surely available upon request. One of the popular appetizers that appeals to almost everyone is the marinated olives with herbs and citrus. Mmm. Enjoy your tantalizing meal while admiring views of the Strip from the restaurant’s large retractable windows.
6. LIGHT FIREWORKS FROM DRAI’S BEACHCLUB NIGHTCLUB
Why wait for fireworks on 4th of July and New Year’s Day when you can have them, hmm, whenever you want? At Drai’s Beachclub Nightclub rooftop, light your own personal fireworks and control the entire situation with a detonator. For 30 seconds, you can get the “Bang Bang Mang” for $9,000. But for a whopping $100,000, you can get “The Mission To Mars” which shoots off for a full three minutes. Boom!
7. RENT AN EXCLUSIVE POOL AREA AT DRAI’S
So fireworks may not be your thing. And that’s fine. But who can resist a dip at the beautiful Drai’s Beachclub Nightclub? Have the ultimate private pool party and secure one of the north mezzanine cabanas, offering amazing views and exclusive access to the upper pool deck. For some school night fun, check out Drai’s Tuesday night Yacht Club party, which runs all night from 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.
8. INTERLUDE
Interlude is the place to just…chill. From its plush seating and open tables, the atmosphere is that relaxing. While Interlude tucked away from the neighboring gaming area and in its own world (no gaming here), you can still people watch all the late-night partiers heading to Drai’s After Hours. The scintillating menu features something for everyone. For a refreshing cocktail, try the Velvet Rosa – it consists of Flor de Caña Silver Extra Dry rum, Briotlet Crème de Péche de Vigne, fresh white peach purée, cranberry juice, topped with Moet and Chandron champagne. No matter where you sit, you’ll instantly feel like you’re VIP.
9. CURIOS
Curious about Curios? This store is pretty fantastic. It’s not your average gift shop where you pick up postcards, T-shirts, key chains and other typical trinkets. This Vegas shop kicks it up a notch with a mix of eclectic and vintage-inspired finds. Authentic top hats. Alice in Wonderland merchandise. You name it. We’re fans of the candles, fun bowties and shiny accessories.
10. LAST BUT NOT LEAST: TEA SERVICE ON EVERY FLOOR
Who doesn’t like tea? Or after a long night of partying, who doesn’t love coffee? Enjoy complimentary seasonal tea, coffee and pastries on every floor, right by the elevator. This is also a great way to meet up friends or socialize with new ones. That said, The Cromwell brings a whole new meaning to tea party.
